Valentine’s Day – some of us love it, some hate it … and then there are those who do not care about this very special day at all. I clearly belong to the last kind of people. Why? There is, of course, a reason for this. This is not because I do not want to celebrate the day of love. No, the real reason is because my birthday is just one day before Valentine’s Day. And there is hardly a person who loves her birthday as much as I do. Already weeks before I’m counting the days and would like to celebrate the whole week. I have even tried to introduce my half-birthday on August 13th – unfortunately without any success so far.

But because my birthday is a slightly larger occasion for me, the Valentine’s Day comes always a bit too short. Therefore my outfit of the day isn’t a typical Valentine’s Day look either. This was one of my looks of the Berlin Fashion Week. Overknee boots, a cozy turtle neck pullover and military jacket, which I stole out of my boyfriends closet, complete the look.
