Just last week I wrote about the “monthly recap of November” and that we are all looking forward to the pre-Christmas season. Today it is already the 10.12 and I cannot believe how fast the last 10 days past by. I planned to do so much in December and I only managed to do a tiny bit of it.
Therefore, I decided to write down my wishes for December, to visualize them and to complete them before new years`. Because all of these things are amazing and make the Christmas season even more beautiful. Instead, I realize that the daily life dominates and the special winterly atmosphere cannot get to me. To not be disappointed at the end of the Christmas season that I missed all of the opportunities to enjoy it, my To Do list follows:
MY BUCKET LIST FOR THE CHRISTMAS SEASON IN HAMBURG
-To eat Flammlachs (salmon) and Schmalzgebäck ( special northern German pastry) on the Christmas Market
-To drink Feuerzangenbowle for the first time
-Bake cookies
-Go ice skating at Planten un Blomen
-To spend a relaxing day with cozy socks, a book and a hot water bag on the couch
-To walk around the beautiful decorated Neuen Wall ( a district in the city center of Hamburg along the lake)
-To beautify my apartment with Christmas decorations
