I don´t want to write another blog post about how much I am missing summer, but my all black look mirrors my current mood pretty well. During my last trip to Miami I realized how much I love the sun, the heat and simply summer. Endorphins are set free immediately and I am happier immediately. You all know the feeling! It is cold and wet outside and you just want to hide under the blanket and spend the evening relaxed on the couch. But sport contributes a great deal to the well-being.
A winter depression can contribute to an increased appetite. Therefore, it is important to watch out what you eat. Also, the vitamin intake is greater than during cold winter months. To get enough vitamins you have to pay attention to eat lots of fruit and vegetables.
Sun is more important for your body than you think. To be more specific, it is the essential piece to fight the winter depression. Due to not getting enough sunlight, your body suffers a lack of Vitamin D. To prevent this, it is advisable to walk outside during daylight to encourage the natural vitamin D intake and in addition, you can take Vitamin D as a supplement.
